The Great Year Of Greenskins, Weekly Update-Week 48

Srarted working on the fanatics, and not super pleased with the kitbashes. I will finish this initial batch, but need to go back and start over from scratch for a reason reasons.

1. Don’t like the base body. It was a cleaned up and smoothed down free stl torso and hands that just don’t jive when next to the more details one I have been using lately.
2. The weapons are also less dynamic than I want
3. The posing needs a lot of work, it’s mostly all versions of being yanked, with less character of swinging in circles.

Here are some basic images (I do like the idea of two smaller weapons (would help spin you IMO, and also more feasible that fanatic could lift (even drugged out, I have hard time seeing gobbos swinging metal balls almost same size as them). I had shown the last image (gobbo swinging gobbo) and like the basic idea, will definitely include in the future rework plans.

I don’t expect the newer ones to make The Great Year of Greenskins, but they will eventually appear on this site.

Our Greenskin STL of the week is Monstrous Encounter’s Cave Goblin Fanatics, a pretty much spiritual 1:1 of the old style fanatics.
