The Great Year Of Greenskins, Weekly Update-Week 21

Welcome to another weekly update on The Great Year of Greenskins! Five completed months so far, and our sixth month started, so looking forward to hitting the halfway mark soon.

Our latest preview, is some kitbashes for goblin bolt throwas. I took parts from Highland Miniatures (Steppe Goblins), Avatars of War (Chariot, Grotlin Wagon and Flinga pieces), and some free STL models and went to town working on an eventual 6 kitbashed engines of war. These are early in the process, and I will of course show more finished kitbashes as they come together.

I want to put as many as possible on wheels, as I would think the gobbos would want to get them into position fast, or be able to flee with them just as fast.

This one has a grotlin wagon front, with the bolt planned to fire through the face (nose hole)

I carved out the front of another grotlin wagon bumper to make room for the bolt to fire through.

So keep checking back for more updates on these, as well as some other planned lobbas, divers, and other fun siege engine stuff.

Now on to our Greenskin STL of the Week, Sudousers’s Knightclan Goblins. One complaint I have had for my kitbashes, is that they are too tall or large in proportions. So for people looking for a good base to start kitbashing with, these are perfect for smaller, more whimsical gobbos. A nice selection of arms, and heads that while not separate look easy enough to splice off or smooth down. Check them out on Myminifactory.
