The Great Year Of Greenskins, Weekly Update-Week 18

So our weekly update today is going to be a callback to Week 13, showing off more work on netters. This time, instead of teams of netters, these will be for models on the right or left side of the front rank of netter equipped units. Not sure if we will use all of these (until printed and based the balance will be hard to judge), but there are four basic stances/types.

Firstly, we have a body that is flinging a small net directly forward, trying to trap and encumber a single foe.

Next is a sideways throwing netter, a pose that hints more at flinging the net further into combat to wrap up or distract.

Next we have a net that is longer, and a pose more like a hammer tosser. This is one of the mor unlikely to work poses, but I am still going to test.

This is an additional longer, less stable pose. The netter has swung and is about to release toward the enemy.

Every netter also needs a good bonking weapon to club their enmeshed foe unconscious (or to death). Here are some examples I have spliced together. They will be lashed to belts, or struck through belt loops.

I am making good progress on these netters, and hope to publish completed pics soon.

Our Greenskin STL of the week, is something a little more “tek-no-logik-kal” than netters, but no less prone to bashing. Adeptus Miniatures Kill Squad-Orks 8 units, with multiple parts. Digital kitbashers will love them both as the focus to customize further, or for the parts to use in other Ork kitbashes.
