The Great Year Of Greenskins, Month 2 (Squig herds)

When I set out to kitbash Squigs for my squigherd units, I knew that I would use some of Mr. Modulork’s models as the base. I melded the heads from several different kits he had made with rear ends from free stls. Then I remeshed and smoothed the join, before using a wide variety of VDM brushes to make each of the four types (shown below-Horn, Shroom, Smooth and Spike).

The hardest part for cleanup was removing the bridle bits from the heads and lip areas, requiring me to rebuild some mouth areas. This was great practice in sculpting and using the draw, claw and crease brushes.
