Ok, so in my latest effort to overcome my creative lethargy (a lethargy I will discuss more in the future when I feel I can do so properly), I am committing to a huge project, documenting something that has already swelled to become colossal in it’s own right, my Night Goblin custom army project.
I have shared images on my social media (mostly Instagram and Bluesky after Twitter become a cesspit) and in various Discord forums, but I want to product a comprehensive documentation of the project as it progresses, and in an insane decision, so so daily. I think that if I can so 365 days of posts, I can prove something to myself.
So what to expect?
- Daily (365 days of greenskin images, each one a custom, unique digital kitbash of parts, merged and customized by me to a level that makes batch painters curse under their breath.
- Weekly posts about the techniques and tools/addons I used in Blender, or articles on the great miniature models who I used for the kitbashes.
- Monthly bigger posts about a non rank and file unit (there are going to be so, so many night goblin spearment, bow gobbos, and 1H weapon gobbos that I will need to break it up)
- Quarterly “special” posts and reveals. Some of these might not be for the night goblin army, but they will be greenskin themed.
- A big year end postmortem on how I did, and if I made my goal.
I also would like to post other content during the year as I get my creative juices flowing. There are some great modeling contests going on, and I am also working on getting better at sculpting in Blender, with an end goal of my own original creations.
